Any other Keyboard Maestro users here?

It's not a very popular app, but I love Keyboard Maestro for its ability to set complex keyboard shortcuts to do fun things.

If there's any MacResourcer that uses it, let me know if you've found a way to hide the icons in the app switcher and/or Dock.

When I upgraded to a new M1 Mini, and re-installed Keyboard Maestro v9.2, it now appears in both the app switcher and the dock. I could've sworn they were both hidden in my past Mac installations, but I could be hallucinating. Let me know if you're able to turn them off and hide the icons.

I love Keyboard Maestro.

I had it set up so that, when it detected connection to my work network, it would open all the applications I needed for work.

I still miss OneClick by Westcode Software for OS9, though. That was one powerful macro package.

Figured it out: no need to actually run the KM app. Just set it up to run the KM engine, which sits in the menubar, and that allows all the background macros to work. No need to have the actual app open.

Good. That answers my question. I use it regularly for a few things, but I'd have to dig through my Applications folder if i ever wanted to create another shortcut or edit an existing one. Nothing in the menu bar for it.

I don't use it, but the guy on this show is one of its biggest fans. If I wanted to get the most of it, I'd listen to him or buy his guide.
