Some people think maybe he didn't know any better, but I saw him make one up on the fly in a TV interview. He had a look on his face that showed he was loving the process.

I once rode with Berra on the way to see Ted Williams and Dom Dimaggio. He was a great guy, but was very aware of every word he used.

In case you wonder, Dom was very soft-spoken while Ted was full of himself.
