My Arkansas nieces are sometimes speaking with an English accent
#1
They both have these pad-like devices that have preprogrammed lessons in them. At least one is presented by an English woman or at least a computerized English accent. The other day they both asked for "straw-breeze."

Dennis,

Age? Watch Nick, Jr? If preschool and kindergarten age, they might be watching Peppa Pig, a British cartoon geared for that age group. I can definitely see them picking up British phrases, pronunciation and possibly even a British accent as a result.

My son started speaking with a slight English accent from watching Thomas the Train and Friends.
