SOLD: 27" iMac
#1
I have a mid 2011 27” iMac for parts or repair. Needs a video card and the hard drive has been removed. Screen, glass, shell, etc. are all in good working condition. Includes the original box and other shipping box. Asking $125 plus shipping.

Or make an offer if you need a part, or whatever.

Have you tried baking the video card?

Nope, haven't tried anything. Don't really have time. It might work, I looked at it briefly before removing the SSD and the issue was pink squares bouncing all over the screen.

I've got a suitable 27" logic board in my garage that may have a donor video card - I think the logical part of mine had passed. Free for postage to whomever buys the if they need.

I’m tempted to Frankenstein this together. My EGPu would work well for it. Would be cheaper than the M1 iMac when it comes out

I'm not sure it works that way. I believe you have to have a functioning internal video card.
