1) Lose your job in one city (read: be allowed to resign) because they know you're emotionally unstable.

2) Get job in another city and kill a 12 yr old playing with a toy.
3) Lose the above job.

4) Have your union ask your state Supreme Court to reinstate you 'cause you didn't get a fair shake, your firing was "political," and so on.

2) Decide you should be put back on the police force while awaiting trial for felony murder.

Cities fire them and/or pay out huge sums of settlement money and yet these people should still be given a job. The same job. TELL me this isn't victimhood writ large.
