He's pretty good at impression management, or something, but I have no idea where he's coming from in general. Has he ever really taken anything seriously? Maybe that wouldn't matter. In an age where "better than Trump" is good enough, who can you rule out?

Yeah, no thx. Even if he ran as a dem and could win.

I agree w Pupp. Those people who think that, despite a total lack of experience, they could easily solve society’s problems if elected should generally not be allowed anywhere near political office.

As someone who lived through the birth of the modern celebrity politician movement (Jesse Ventura as Governor of Minnesota), I am truly sorry as it led to the last 4 years.

However, I am not sure Ventura was worse than the GOP alternative (he won due to an odd 3-way race, so there was also a DFL option). The GOP candidate ran on 'fiscal responsibility' but had been personally bankrupt... If he had been governor instead of JV, there would have been all sorts of major issues.
