Ebay score
#1
I needed a bearing kit for my Fisher-Paykel dryer, they wear out every 5 -7 years. The cost of the OEM kit has steadily risen and today goes for close to $200. Aftermarkets are cheaper but the bearing is cheaper and they have a tendency to seize up.

So I found a manufacturer kit on eBay and got it for $96, a score. But it got better, it turns out it was two unopened kits. So I'm set for what will likely be the life of the dryer or I can likely sell one for what I paid.

For such an offbeat item, I'm really happy.

NSK or SKF bearings by chance and not the cheapo PRoC knockoffs?

Both are actual Fisher/Paykel sets. The PRoC knockoffs have a carbon steel bearing, they often overheat and seize up. I won't buy the knockoffs
