French Press
#1
I forgot to post about my new French press.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JE36GLQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

I used to just buy a cheap one from Ikea, then drop it and replace it every year or so....
https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/upphetta-fr...t8EALw_wcB

But I finally decided it was a dumb thing to do. Drive across town, then almost always buy other small stuff too. And they are not packed in anything, so buying two is just asking for trouble.

I love the new one. Keeps my coffee very hot. Have a lot of stainless, so cleaning is no biggie.
Thumbs up!

I love my SS French press, too. Combined with the milk frother I purchased last year, I've come to really enjoy my morning coffee on the weekends.

Pro tip: If you preheat your French press, it will keep your coffee hot even longer. I preheat mine by filling it with boiling water and letting it sit for five minutes or so before I start to make my coffee.

I bought a Thermos brand french press that's insulated. Looks like it's discontinued.

Mmmm, I got a rainbow version of this. I preheat it, and I have a homemade quilted cozy on it, and it almost makes hot enough coffee. I like it really hot. The coffee is so good that I don’t mind, and the press is so pretty.

Lucked out back in 2015, there was a promo sale on the SterlingPro 1L
Stainless Steel Double Walled French Press for $9.95 for Prime members.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MMQOZ1U/

Turned out to be one of my better Amz purchases!

OK, since we're sharing, this is the one I have:

That price is pretty crazy - I picked mine up for $50 at Home Goods.

What's the difference between (1.5 liter/50 oz):

- $35 Secura (stainless outer finish) https: //www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJJ2SGG

- $37 Belwares (flat black finish) https: //www.amazon.com/dp/B01H2DYIUK/

Is one a Chinesium knockoff or are they both in that category? This seems to be also listed as YY, Cuisinox...
