Amazon subscribe and save suggestions - whats on your list?

Amazon subscribe and save is a much better deal if you have five items in your monthly order. Do to a confluence of things, I only have 1-2 items / month in my subscribe and save orders at this point - coffee and eye care products.

What are your must have subscribe and save items?

To get the 10-15% overall discount, you need to have 5 items for that month. Cheap items include ramen, sauces, supplements.

I've had a few AMZ subscriptions, and every one raised priced with each after the first two initial shipments.

i take supplements like tumeric, red yeast rice. a few others like that. I like soaking baths so a bag of epsom salt every month. dental chews for my pup. some things are not every month.

I just signed up yesterday for a try. So far, I have two 1 pound packs of cat treats every other week.

I'll add to that to test the system, but not married to the idea yet. Time will tell.

I like the idea but my items are frequently out of stock which makes it not so useful. I get supplements, dog food and household cleaning products totaling 10 items. Amazon suggested items are further cleaning products, spices and some cooking ingredients. I’m pretty lukewarm on the idea overall. It’s really hard to get the intervals right and half the time they are out of stock and can’t ship anyway. Feels like it requires a lot of babysitting.

We've had SF Bay Fog Chaser coffee on Amazon's Subscribe and Save for a while now and the price has kept creeping up. I used to get it directly from San Fransisco Bay, but then their prices jumped so I went to Amazon. Now I just checked again and my Amazon was going to be $42 for a box of 80 k-cups. Direct from SF Bay, I just signed up for their subscription for $31.49. Still free shipping (unless it drops below $30).

Just canceled my Amazon S&S arrangement.

Last time I checked it was still cheaper than Walmart. I’ll check prices again.

Edit: Latest order just shipped. Price was $15.45 from Amazon, about $2.50 less than the same item at Walmart.

Supplements/OTC stuff, horse supplements, anything I buy that offers a discount to subscribe… but as mentioned, the prices often increase or the item is no longer in stock or even sold by Amazon anymore. So, you can’t really count on it being there for you when you need it. It’s hard to predict usage of many items we use, anyway.

I have 33 S&S items.

I like the convenience of the delivery and the extra savings for 5+ items.

I don't like that items get dropped and their suggested replacements are not even the same class of product.

Consumables like laundry soap, TP, paper towels & dish detergent are easy. I also have nutrition items like Quest bars & chips.

Longer-term: Wiper blades & air/cabin filters for the cars.

I usually find myself with items piling up because I'm not using then as much as a six month subscription requires. You need to keep on top to avoid having too much.

Another bad thing was the packing. I was getting kitty litter, and the big, heavy bins would be packed with other items and crush them.
