Disney announced that it was withholding all political contributions to those who supported the so-called "Don't Say Gay" bill which will prevent teachers from discussing alternative lifestyles or sexual matters in the curriculum. The corporation is a major corporate donor in the state.
In response, DeSantis sent out a fundraising email saying "Disney is in far too deep with the Communist Party of China and has lost any moral authority to tell you what to do."
