I got a call from 800-828-9980 was it a call from J.M.Smucker or a scam?

Well, what did the caller have to say? Were they trying to get money out of you, or say something else that made you suspect it being a scam?

....it is highly unlikely that a company that make jelly/jam/peanut butter would call you out of the blue....unless you contacted them first.....
