FOUND: IPod 5th Gen (iPod Photo)

Looking to buy a 5th gen iPod to do some modding.

I've got one of those, but I don't think the screen is working properly. Last time I fired it up, it was a little wonky. I was thinking of doing the same mod that I think you're planning, but I didn't want to put money into it since I wasn't sure the screen worked properly.

Going to outfit it with a nifty solid state drive update that can hold up to 4 SD memory cards along with a bigger battery.

I had one years ago but it was stolen out of the glove compartment of an unlocked car. If it ever turns up - because it WAS custom engraved with my phone number - I'll let you know!

I have this iPod and have done this exact same mod on mine. It's nifty.
