Trying to set up Apple ID. All looked fine until message says “You’re Apple ID and iTunes account has been closed*”-gcti

-* Or something like that. I have limped along without the account or apps because my old password didn’t work. I tried anew and it connected OK. I was trying to wade through all the crap and after a couple minutes I got the notice that my account was closed.

That was just enough time to run a credit check, look at your bank account transactions and determine your net worth.

just get in touch with Apple support. AppleID issues can be weird and not make any sense - they can see more on their end than you can on yours.

Once you get past tier 1- yes very helpful.
