Is this really one of the Top Photos Of The Day?

and of course, on the same day TWO Evil Joos/Poor Palestinian pix

That's 1) a gunfire exchange you know, like IDF being fired on by heroic 'militants' 2) posed as usual 3) by the same photog who brought you the staged 'tent in the rubble' pix
Oh, nobody told you the raid was to arrest terrorism suspects...sorry, our bad

Steve, I don’t know how you got this particular bee in your bonnet, but it’s not flattering for you.

If this were some marginal site, I would ignore it. However, this is one of the world's major news sources purposefully loading up staged pictures and anti-Israeli bias. The staging, if you follow their 'Photos Of The Day' extend far beyond what I have posted.
That's why.

In contrast to the Reuters bias, here's an AFP (Agence France-Presse) photo from today's Guardian.
Does the violence occur? Yes. Is the photo staged? Probably not.

I'm probably wrong but I thought, on more than one occasion in the past, that you said that The Guardian doesn't show Palestinian aggression.

That’s some pinpoint firing to take out the window but not damage any of the surrounding structure.
BTW, I’m surprised the forum software permitted the photo since its not a .jpg, .gif, or a .png.

Steve seems pretty intent on defending Israel while in his own back yard:
Since 2018, hate crimes against Jews in New York City have resulted in only one perpetrator spending just a single day in jail, according to a report.
An in-depth Sunday piece in the Jewish-centric online magazine Tablet mentioned a report by the group Americans Against Antisemitism that, as the publication put it, “found that of the 118 adults arrested for anti-Jewish hate crimes in New York City since 2018, only one has been convicted and sent to prison.”
Year after year, among religious groups, Jews are the leading target of hate crimes annually in the United States, according to the FBI.

…and I’m not disputing there are plenty of anti-semitic nutjobs out there - one of them left a flyer in my driveway, and I called the police.
But I think that Steve’s repeated assertion that (essentially) any pictures of Palestinians suffering are de-facto proof of anti-semitism by Reuters is more than over-the-top; I think it sounds a little looney, and detracts from outrage over genuine antisemitism or editorial slant in the media.

This has to do with what Reuters pushes on their lead outlets. (I noticed you didn't say anything about the obviously staged propaganda photo from Ukraine)
As I pointed out a couple of posts ago, they do have photos of heavily armed Islamic Jihad members parading in hate Israel parades. But those are not the ones selected for their Photos Of The Day.
So far as The Guardian goes, they have changed their slant over the past year or so. It has apparently finally dawned on them that Hamas and Islamic jihad are in it for their own ideological ends and repress and exploit their subjects. Also Fatah has reached the point of absurdity, with no concern for Palestinians and are more corrupt than ever, being led by a President Abbas now in his 18th year of his 4 year term.
It took them a while to catch on, but even the other Arab countries have stopped significantly supporting the PA and Hamas. The only ones left are Qatar and Iran. Iran's policies are just insane and imperialistic.
At least the BBC has fired their reporters who cry at Arafat's funeral.
See you the next time Reuters thinks that heroic Palestinian youth doing parkour in Gaza ruins strikes their fancy as world important events.
