as you watch you'll see interspersed some VERY good costumes.

Attendance seems lighter this year. I think it will come back full strength (in the tens of thousands) by next year after our multiple calamities have worn off.

btw- it starts raining at 2:10 in the video...which may account for the smiles being much less frequent. You can see the umbrellas go up in the crowd. Conversely, the costumes get a lot better as the parade is nearing the end.
