Has anybody remapped keyboard keys on...
#1
an Apple, Mac compatible, or non-Mac keyboard?

I ordered a Logitech MX Mini Keyboard from AMZ that Logitech Actual said was Mac compatible even though the software for it needed a later OS.

Logitech said some features won't be available without it, but the basic stuff will work.

Ok, I'm in.

AMX sends me the other MX Mini that isn't optimized for Mac.

It's Space Gray and nicer looking than the Silver Mac version so if I can remap the keys without further issue, I'll probably keep it.

Because Logitech's site and support are crap, I don't know what other differences exist between the two, or if the software is the same for both, since at some point I'll move to my iMac with a compatible OS.

Logitech does not want to talk to the customer, but they will take an email under advisement.

Oh, and there is no setup guide included in the box, just all the safety and warning blah blah that nobody reads, in six different languages, on an accordion fold out, in .005 point typeface.

That's probably more background than anybody needs...

SO — if I remap the keys (instead of developing new muscle memory) for this keyboard, does that affect every other keyboard I may connect, or will the mapping be unique to this one?
