Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Making a noise, Pump Motor ??
#1
Model Number:

I Believe that when it is making the noise, it is coming from this pump. I put my hand on it, and try to change the sound, audit does it a little. Think it might be the drain pump. I also think that is held on via a locking motion, and a 1/4 turn counter clockwise, by pushing a tab at mounting point. Maybe tomorrow morning I will unplug 3 wire cable, and try to twist it off, so I have a picture of the entire thing. Until then will search for a parts site for this model.

Took off the drain motor, without removing the Dishwasher from undercounted.

It had lint/hair between motor and blade, removed that and reinstalled, but still have the noise.

The it drains it does make a noise, louder than when new, but not unbearable.

But during the wash cycle (I think wash cycle), some motor (maybe drain) goes on for a couple of seconds thus a noise, and then off, it will do this over and over maybe 10+- times, So noise no noise.

Is there some cycle in the dishwasher where it does an alternating of some of its motors, for function of some sort?
