What? Why?
There are? Really? Are you sure?
So I go into system settings/network/WiFi/[my T-Mobile router]/details/TCP/IP and there it is (the iP6 address that Wikipedia says they blocked) in a list of 9 IP6 addresses (what are 9 (!) there for anyway?)
All this is beyond my ken. I don't think I've ever had a wikipedia account (although I have given them money), and it's just my wife and I that live here, use this Mac, and this router. And I wasn't actually trying to edit Wikipedia, just start a "talk" about a page that appears to have been recently edited by an anti-vaxxer ("At this point, their claims cannot be trusted as they originally claimed their vaccines did NOT cause myocarditis.")
Anyway, my Mac (an M1 Mini) has been weird for some years; suuuuper slow (like 20 seconds) to change users; occasionally the keyboard input appears on screen super-duper slow (like, one character every 3-4 seconds). I have set it to automatically restart every night at 3a, and that seems to help. Had the same sorts of problems with my previous i7 Mac mini. Perhaps foolishly used migration assistant to set up the M1. Up to date on all system software.
Anyway, I always wonder if I've somehow been hacked. Any ideas?
There are multiple blocks against your account and/or IP address

Ask Google: "What is my IP address"
Unless you're using a VPN, the result is what's being blocked.
If you're using a hotspot for Internet, you should be aware that many IP addresses associated with hotspots are on blacklists from previous abuse. If you are occasionally prompted by Google to verify that you're human by solving a captcha, that's a dead-giveaway that your IP has been misused in the past.
You may be able to snag a new IP address by turning off the hotspot (T-Mobile router) for about 10 minutes and then powering it back up.
...
Hard to solve a "slowness" problem without hands-on.
To begin with, you can check the Activity Monitor app, sort by CPU activity by clicking at the top of the "CPU" column, and make sure that the "View" menu has a checkmark next to "All Processes." Whatever's eating the most CPU when your Mac stalls, that's probably the culprit.
...I find that most long stalls are from a messed up mdworker (Spotlight) database, unless antivirus software is installed. AV software is the next most likely culprit.

I do not know the details of wikipedia IP blocking, but many I have seen only filter on the first 64 bits of the IPv6 address. So it is possible the address was used by someone prior to you who it was assigned to them.

I don't know enough about T-Mobile internet to comment on allocating IP addresses. Need more info.
Is there a chance someone guessed your WiFi password, or used a man-in-the-middle attack?

Hulu blocked my live TV access when I installed T-Mobile. Their algorithm identified me as not watching from home, Disney has monetized that feature. During a call to Hulu - one that failed to correct the problem - the cs rep admitted installing this feature has upset a lot of customers.
Seems this stuff all stems from a failure to recognize the features that go with using T-Mobile and probably other cellular internet providers.
In my case it may result in cancelling Hulu in favor of UTube TV.
