Foldding quesiton, what if I restart?

i have one thats 74% done, but i need to restart -- how does that effect it?

is it ok?

or what should i do?

Restart the computer? It will start off where you left off when you activate the folding program again.

It will suspend folding, restart, and it will continue where it left off..

I thought it would pick up at the last checkpoint. But that's usually every 15 or 30 minutes anyway right? Either way I'd say it's safe to restart without losing much.

the protein is called p3038 supervillin and im 75% done

i never shut this machine off, just too lazy to start folding =(

ahh yes, the supervillin, I'm crunching a pair of those right now. over 30 hours left though at 40% completion.

How is the whole folding doing, by the way? Haven't seen many posts about it since everyone was at dealmac.

well, finished it, now im at 181st on the team list, i should jump another 20 places by the time the next supervilln finishes, figure 3 days

need to get my other mac crunching, there are 3 others that could do it, only parttime tho
