I am working but I work from home so I probably won't get much sympathy...

Holding it down till 3am, and apparently getting paid to surf the 'net. I love capitalism.

I work late every night.
8 to 8, often later. Partially why I have no clue what "Lost" "DS9" and many more of those TV /movie type threads are about.

Dave Bridge electronics on commercial sea-going vessels in the under 200 ton range. Automatic Pilots, Radar, GPS, communications, Sat, VMS, AIS, ECDIS, etc. Kongsberg Simrad, Furuno, Northstar(BNTME), IcomMarine, Koden,Suzuki etc... Authorized and Certified sales and service for too many to list here, like Navionics,C-Map, Gam, Digital, Comrod, etc... Updating software and user data on three computers as I type. (two on a GPS simulator to put the video card through some paces and one is building a database, I 'm just watching and occaisionally getting up to hit cancel/allow) :-)

My aix updates went smoothly, all done and very happy.
What about the rest of you? What do you do that keeps you working at night? Dave

Work in an Anhydrous Ammonia/Carbon Dioxide (liquid and solid) plant. We work a rotating 7 day on 2 day off schedule. Normally I'd go home at 10:30 on this shift, but we're training a new employee so I get to stay for the first 4 hours of his shift, then the day shift guy comes in 4 hours early and covers the last half of the shift. Be the last week of training then he's on his own. Be glad too, really working on a serious case of work-burnout.

I archive text at the newspaper .... as stories are finished and ready to be published we get a version that looks nothing like the layout and prep it for our internal database, vendors we sell them to and an online version. We're not involved in content creation nor publication. There's a lot of glorified cut and paste.
