Famine
#1
The director of the U.S. Agency for International Development told lawmakers this week that a famine is underway in northern Gaza, which has been devastated by six months of Israeli military operations and is the part of the territory most cut off from aid.

That is not possible. Israel calculated how much calories are needed in Gaza to make sure they have enough food and are not starving.

Yeah millions being slaughtered and starving. Where have YOU been...not enough Jews for you?

Famine (and murders) for MILLIONS are ongoing in Sudan, Ethiopia Afghanistan, Syria, Myanmar

The nightmare has continued. In Ethiopia, Myanmar, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere, global powers have done almost nothing as millions have been bombed, gassed and starved. The war in Gaza, too, has brought tensions between principles and geopolitics to a head, with bitter claims and counterclaims about Hamas’s atrocities and the legality of Israel’s destructive six-month-long military campaign, which have played out in the media, diplomacy and international courts.

Do you believe them? Or shall we group them with other jihadist 'truths'?

AFP...
A senior Hamas official says that only a ceasefire can provide “enough time and safety” to locate Israeli hostages being held across the Gaza Strip and ascertain their fate.

Negotiations for a ceasefire have been underway in Cairo since Sunday, but so far there has been no breakthrough on a proposal presented by US, Qatari and Egyptian mediators.

“Part of
negotiations is to reach a ceasefire agreement to have enough time and safety to collect final and more precise data about the captured Israelis,” Hamas official Bassem Naim says in a statement. This is “because they are [held] in different places by different groups, some of them are under the rubble killed with our own people, and we negotiate to get heavy equipments for this purpose.”

Israel believes that of the 129 hostages kidnapped from Israel on October 7 who are still being held in Gaza, at least 34 are confirmed to be dead, although US and Israeli officials have hinted in recent days that the number could be much higher.

I'm not saying that dire conditions do not exist in Gaza. I was remarking that the concerns rise and the tears begin to flow not when at the same moment millions are starving in Ethiopia and Sudan, but only where the Israelis are involved. The others can starve rot in their millions and provoke nary a whisper from the 'concerned' crowd here.

It nothing less than hypocrisy on the part of augie and his mysterious lying pal 'special'.

It's "dire," but talking about it is antisemitic because we're not simultaneously talking about every single person starving anywhere else in the world.

Gotcha!
