Nature pic of the day
#1
This little guy lives in a spider plant I have hanging in my back yard. He has been around for several years. He has even come in the house a couple of times when I brought the plant in for the winter. I choose to believe it is the same frog. Big Grin
He is Camofrog.

How cool is that?! One of the rare times I wish I lived in a warmer climate… the neat amphibians!

Hyla cinerea, the American Green Tree Frog. Also the basis for Kermit.

They actually are creatures of habit, so it's entirely possible it is the same frog. They do live for several years... if he or she has found a reliable source of food and shelter, that would come into play. He/she will keep your garden free of bugs...

Nice. We have lots of frogs here. Koi pond out back assures we get lots every year. This is the time of year I end up having to get them out of our swimming pool and walk them over to the pond and release them. There's one that lives right outside the windows behind my computer. I swear he sounds like he's in the room when he starts croaking.
