Spain, Ireland and Norway recognize independent Palestinian State…
#1
…Israel responds to this outrage by recalling their ambassadors (and urging collective punishment against West Bank Palestinians and the Palestinian Authority, as well as increasing Israeli settlement building in the West Bank).

Netanyahu, his supporters, and Israel’s actions in all this have somehow turned a diabolical tragedy that should have won the world’s sympathy into a wedge dividing Israel from the rest of the world.

…and that is the greatest threat to the future of Israel.

This is what you get if you push things too far.

Interesting. There are 143 countries that recognize Palestine and I know for a fact that Israel has diplomatic relations with at least some of them. This seems to be Bibi's hissy fit at an action that is clearly a reaction to his activities.

Israel is a pariah state. Expect more of the same until BB and Likud see the light.

Ireland and Norway have been anti-Israel for years. (Especially Ireland, who hate the British...'colonialists'...so much they supported Germany in WW2.)

Spain's socialist PM Sanchez is saluting Euro-lefty fashion.

When Labor gets elected a majority in the UK, they will turn on Israel first thing...it's a lefty thing from w-a-y back.

So recognizing Palestine automatically means being ani-Israel?

There is NO MIDDLE GROUND?

Keep in mind they did not recognize HAMAS, they recognized the Country.

Unfortunately fopr Labor (voting is July 4), they have not purged all the antisemitic Corbyn wing from the party...so expect shouting and screaming.
