I got another email from "Maintain" about this app.

Does it do anything essential that would make it worth $19?

For me, it’s kind of a chicken soup app. I run it when I have some weird, repeating problem.

The freeware Onyx is just as good, IMHO.

I don't think so.

It's been around for a great many years, and one of a number of apps that profess to clean, repair and optimize one's OS.

It's a collection of functions that may or may not be found with other apps.

I agree that Onyx does much if not all the same stuff and it's free.

Any of these apps might have the ability to screw up an OS as much as 'fix' it.

Me, I'd pass.

Maintain is the name of the company that does Cocktail.
