Banana blueberry smoothie FTW!
#1
I threw a moderately ripe banana, some frozen blueberries, and some milk to fill half a barrel glass, about 8oz, and used a Proctor-Silex hand blender to make a stirred not shaken smoothie.

The taste was a little lightweight, but can be tuned to taste, but it was mostly banana.

The blueberries were somebody's tiny Wild Blueberries, 3lbs worth.

Mixing was great.

I mushed the banana and berries a few time, put the blender in and pressed Play.

The mixture didn't climb up the sides like in a desktop blender, so that was a plus.

The base of the blender fit on the bottom of the glass with room to spare, so all the bits got smoothed, no aliasing.

I really liked it.

Maybe more banana, more berries, I don't know, but it's nice change from a full on milkshake.

Kale is not an option.

I forgot to get some vanilla, so that's on the list, which I may or may not consult.

Sugar could be added as well as ice cream and syrups, but that takes me into different territory.

Not that it's a bad thing, but right now I want to KIS.

One bunny trial I wouldn't mind traveling, is making an orange smoothie that tastes like the Orange Creamsicle - 50/50 Bar.

I see there are various recipes, so that's something I'll look into.

Thanks to all for your suggestions; I would never have bothered, otherwise.

You beat me too it-I was going suggest vanilla!

You could consider a touch of salt.

I would go for the least amount of bananas as possible-they're pretty high-glycemic. I do all blueberries, and I love it. Sometimes I'll toss in some frozen raspberries or strawberries to give some increased complexity in the flavor.

Heartburn cocktail! Probably wouldn't stop me from drinking it though.

I'll pick up some strawberries, along with vanilla.

I've never been a fan of raspberries, unless there was a ton of chocolate fudge.

Maybe a few would be ok.

The banana is for the K, not optional.
