Had my gallbladder removed yesterday and everything went well. I am in some pain but have pain meds if/when I need them. Also have an abdominal binder on to help with discomfort. Glad to have it over and out. They found a large polyp in it and are sending it to pathology to determine if it is cancerous or not. In a couple months I get to have a colonoscopy too!! Yay!!! (Not) but they want to be thorough. Anyway thank you for all the good vibes of support. As for my mom she looks and sounds like her old self!! She’s doing things like speech therapy and other treatments because she is still having issues reading/deciphering text but she is getting better slowly but surely. I’m teaching her how to use SIRI and Apple AI to send and read text on her phone and that’s going well too! (She just got the iPhone 16 Pro Max).
So good things are happening!! Thank you again for all your support and birthday wishes!!!!!

Jerry, the advice I was given after surgery was to not try to tough it out when in pain. They warned me that if pain gets really bad because you are not taking the meds, it can be harder to get it back under control. Also, follow orders about how much you can bend, etc.
Glad things are looking up!

Happy to hear that things are looking up for you and your mom. My only advice is..."Keep on going on!".
