OT: smart watches & detecting problems

This is a bit of complicated read but educationally. And if I understand the tech in the Apple Watches correctly, the SE only uses the blood pulse optical tech. And the more expensive Apple Watches also uses that tech and adds electrical ECG tech. Which makes it a lot “better” at the heart problem detection algorithm because there is a whole different set of data.

Note that the ECG reading needs to be manually started and you need to put a finger from the opposite hand on the watch. It's not a continuously monitored condition. I bring this up as a friend thought differently.

You’re correct but the data is (and testing capability) is on tap vs not being available.
