No he's dead. That clip is obviously generated by Cryosoft corp's Paul-Harvey-monologue-synthesizer PH-5000. Cryosoft was recently acquired by Andy Rooney's company and is busy developing a unit (the AR-5001) that will give the option of synthesizing video clips (up to 3 minutes in length) to sync with the audio.
