No one told ME about this during my test drive.
The front seat mates up with the rear seat to create an extended lounge...aka REFRESH MODE seating??/
Bottom illustration here:
My co-worker said that looks like the perfect teen make-out car.

I am wondering how safe it is to seat in the lounge position during a drive.

I think I read about these features back in the summer when Honda added the Fit to their website.

ya know that little stick shift thingy can get in the way during those *special* moments. Best teen makout vehicle was my parents 73 Ford Van. talked 'em into letting me put mirror film on the windows as "energy efficient". Explained the camping pads and blankets I carried in the back as "Emergency supplies- you never know".
Then again, you have to remember that young adults are VERY limber. We think we may have conceived our first child in the back of a Chevy Chevette....

BGnR,
The snopes.com article reminds me of the European VW commercial.

LOL!
That VW Euro ad reminded me of that "Urban Myth", that is why it was on my mind!
