I stopped considering cases that
don't split open, as yours
does, so that any silicone heat sink will touch the metal case.
One case I have has the board portions sliding into the shell.
It's neigh impossible to attach silicone that will touch the shell, and get the board back into the case.
It both annoys and worries me that SSD sticks run so hot, and enclosures don't seem to shed the heat as well as I'd like.
I did get an
Express 1M2 that I haven't populated yet.
It's USB4 not T4, but that doesn't make any difference for my use.
While I did get it to see how fast a couple of fast sticks might be (ADATA, Samsung Pro something), I also like the generous heat sink area.
I also have a couple of Envoy Pro SX enclosures.
It looks like they're discontinued and now only the FX is available, and only as a drive and not an empty box.
