Breathtaking, though not in the least surprising.
Raw Story:
The Guardian:
Well, y’know, if you elect Trump, you’ll never have to vote again, so…
PS - Harmeet Dhillon checks a number of the boxes for her appointment in the Trump administration. Thrice married, former vice chair of the California Republican Party, and the former National Committeewoman of the Republican National Committee for California. Frequent Faux News contributor. Considers Laura Ingraham her “mentor”. Sued “antifa” in Portland for $900K on behalf of a conservative who said he was assaulted (by “antifa”?)
As a Sihk, she gave the opening prayer at the 2016 Republican National Convention. An immigrant, she was born in India, to Indian parents.. Wikipedia does not say whether and how she received US citizenship.

Smart enough - went to Dartmouth, where she wrote a “satirical” column for the student paper in which, per wikipedia, Dartmouth College President James O. Freedman, who was Jewish, was likened to Adolf Hitler due to the alleged discriminatory policies of his administration against conservatives. These policies were referred to by the column as a "holocaust" and the "Final Solution to the Conservative Problem". The column also characterized conservatives at Dartmouth as being "deported in cattle cars in the night".
Niiiiice.

Raw Story:
Appointees in President Donald Trump's administration at the Department of Justice have ordered the dismissal of all voting rights cases and removed managers of the division responsible for overseeing them.
The Guardian:
The moves come less than a month after Trump ally Harmeet Dhillon was confirmed to lead the civil rights division, created in 1957 and referred to as the “crown jewel” of the justice department. In an unusual move, Dhillon sent out new “mission statements” to the department’s sections that made it clear the civil rights division was shifting its focus from protecting the civil rights of marginalized people to supporting Trump’s priorities.

During the coronavirus pandemic, she filed numerous unsuccessful lawsuits to halt the implementation of stay-at-home-orders and other restrictions. She criticized face masks requirements, called for the re-opening of the economy, and opposed mail in voting.

Some other notes from Wikipedia:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dhillon Law Group (located in California) was the recipient of a federal loan under the Paycheck Protection Program, in the amount of between $150k-350k, in April 2020, through Hiawatha National Bank,[29] a small regional bank located in Hager City, Wisconsin with 5 branches.[30] DLG is located in California, with offices in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Virginia, with no apparent business (or client) nexus in Wisconsin or other known banking relationship with Hiawatha (which made 95 total PPP loans, mostly in the Upper Midwest - the total being a considerable loan portfolio for a very small regional bank capitalized at ~$150MM). It is not clear whether DLG repaid the taxpayer funds.
