G, welcome ! How much hotter is it in your borough compared to less built up areas ? I recall that NYC was regularly 10F warmer due to building heat. The city has come a long way… building laws to reduce energy usage, reflective roofs, etc…

Fixed.  Clicked on my username, then on Private Messages, next Edit Options, then have at it.
