Is there an option to increase the number of posts per page?
I feel like I spend more time clicking NEXT or the next page number, than reading posts.

Yes, in User Control Panel, Your Profile, Edit Options, there's a section Thread View Options, and a "Posts Per Page" pop-up menu. Default seems to be around 20, max setting is 50.

Likewise, you can increase the number of replies shown per page as well.
What I haven't figured out is how to default the post view to sort by "Creation Time" (default seems to be "Last Post" which is pretty common for most forums), but I liked that the old forum would let threads die off as they moved off the front page. At least I can update my bookmark to include sort by creation time, but that setting doesn't stick if you switch to one of the other sub-forums.

I really liked that about The Old Place.
Elegant in its simplicity.
It seems Guests can see everything without registering, just can't post.
Unfortunately, that's pretty standard as well.

Isn't that exactly how it was on the old forum too? You didn't need to be logged in to view posts.
One new thing that I've noticed is that we've attracted some spammers, possibly because the registration process is easier.

Definitely need to permanently switch to sort by creation times.

Tru dat.
How soon I forget.
Maybe member information wasn't available?
It's all a brain fog at this point.

Yes!

Member information was also public, but very few chose to have their "real" name or e-mail be public (it was all or nothing, I don't believe there was an option/way to show information ONLY to logged in members).

Totally agree!!

I've bookmarked Tips and Deals so that my first look at any given time.
Is there a way to view responses along with the posts like with TOP ?
I dislike the method of a thread moving to the top because of a new reply.
Yes, Creation Date/Decending/Beginning helps but it needs to be refreshed, as it doesn't stick.
