Clips ahoy!... but no paper, yet.
#1
ordered paper deal from OD yesterday,

and paper clips came by UPS around lunch time...

10 min till end of their deliver between 8:30AM-5PM window on email confirm, and have seen a few OD truck locally already today, so should be here any minute..., but puzzling question is, why send 29ยข paper clips separate via UPS instead of just taping them to box of paper? doesn't seem terribly cost efficient...

Staples did the exact same thing when I ordered a hard drive. Makes no sense at all!
Clips via UPS, hard drive via Staples Delivery.

Paper and clips arrived at my office around noon - paper in one box and paper clips in another box roughly the same size - only shallower - with a wad of airbags.

OD driver must be lost... almost 6:30PM and still no paper...

according to yesterday afternoon's email;

"Thank you for ordering from Office Depot Online.
We received your order on 03/12/2007, and processed it for delivery.
Your order number is XXXXXXXXX-001.
We will deliver your order on 03/13/2007, between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
You may review your order at anytime at od-web-address-was-here.
For questions concerning your order please call us toll free at (800)463-3768."

also, packing slip that came w/ paper clips only shows 8 reams ordered, though online invoice and email properly show 10...
