1G ipod hd fit in 3G?

I want to put a working 10 gig 1G ipod hd in a 3G 15 gig ipod with a dead hard drive.

Before I bust them both open, anyone know if it will fit?

Probably not. I think the 1 G hard drives are fatter than the 3G drives.
