selling an ipod with an inscription on the back

My wife wants to move from the 4gb nano to the 8gb version but is hesitant due to the inscription on the back. How have you felt about selling your personalized ipods?

Put a protective cover on it and who's to know? I forgot what my iPod looks like because I have this cool green poly skin on it. If it is a real good deal go for it.

I haven't done it, but I'd probably feel like the Apple Store's FREE engraving isn't actually free. Doubt if sentimentality would enter in, though.

I would just scratch ou the number after "For a good time call..." and not worry about it anymore.

As a buyer I wouldn't give it a second thought. Sell it as is. They can put a decal or whatever over it if they care. What a good wife to suggest an upgrade!
