can't speak to chatterbug specifically, but have you looked into other VOIP solutions? I just got sunrocket at my house during their 2yr/$199 promotion. I get unlimited local/long distance, $3 international calling credit/month, voicemail, etc, for about $9/month.

Even if you keep your landline, something like sunrocket seems like a no-brainer at that rate instead of a service like chatterbug.

I don't think this is VOIP, technically. I think the internet thing happens on their end.
