Something's in the air- I also have a new car

Picked it up yesterday and couldn't be happier. A few pics here:

This IS a Mac related post because you can see my new iPod in the 1st photo. Smile Love being able to run it through the car stereo but I wish the song title and/or artist showed up on the radio display.

I love Hondas and that is about as nice as they get. Congrats. When you are ready for another one you will get a big portion of the money back.

Too bad you will not drive it much because you will be afraid of getting that beautiful paint job scratched. You will be parking in the distant regions of parking lots so nobody parks close to it.

Everbody is getting new cars and I am driving an 1999. Waaah! Time for a lottery ticket.

A friend of mine just got one for his daughter, her favorite flavor- cherry red.

I like the car-- a fair amount of room. A good move for the CR-V from SUVish to Crossover.

Wow. A million years ago.

Thanks everyone!

Mint- alas I know it will not be long before my first scratch/door ding. I live in a highrise in Chicago and my car is valet parked in my building garage. To say they pack 'em in there is an understatement. That, along with the fact that I drive about 20,000 miles/year, also shows up sooner rather than later. Don't feel too bad- until Saturday I was driving a '97.

JP- thanks for the compliment. I also like it when they card me when I am buying alcohol.

space-time- believe me, the fantasy is far better than the reality.

GtDS- at least. I have a bunch of photos that I really need to upload. I should also put out a call for any videos anyone may have laying around...

RAM- I told them I'd take either the red or the blue but the blue was scheduled to arrive sooner so I went with that.

I purchased a new CR-V in 2002 for $21,000 - sold it five years later with 85,000 miles for $11,000. Never had a problem. Gotta love Honda resale!

Now I have a old mini-van and a Z/28 - gotta love the mid-life crisis!!
