'Just had a discussion as to where Mercury is in relation to Jupiter right now and when I Googled it, I got a load of crap.
I'm not looking for birth charts or horoscopes.
I'd just like to see a table noting which sign each planet resides in and where the planets are in relation to each other.
I used to have some sweet apps (actually Desk Accessories) for this sort of thing back in the day and I miss that convenience.
Has anyone got a site they'd recommend?

Maybe this one:

My wife is into astrology and planetary transits... her sister became a therapist after studying at the Cal Institute of Integral Studies in Berkeley, and I think she always checks something called astro-noetics, but I couldn't find it just now.

Maybe you should look for an astronomy web site.

Re: wickedSteve's suggestion: I don't think astronomy sites are generally going to provide information about where the planets are in relation to each with respect to zodiac constellations because that is usually not something astronomers are concerned with. Here is an astronomy web site, though, where you can click on the link for each planet and it will tell you where it is on zodiac presently, but you will have to figure out where they are in relation to each other:

Here is an astronomy web page that will show you where the planets are in relation to each other, but not which constellation of the zodiac each planet is "in":
http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Solar
Probably not much help, sorry. I don't know of any astrology web sites that provide only the information you are looking for.

I bookmarked it, localized for the nearest dark sky viewing to my home. If you go to the main page you can enter your own coordinates.
http://www.heavens-above.com/planetsumma...lat=45.639&lng=-122.660&loc=Vancouver&alt=52&tz=PST
Click on the constallation name
There is also an interactive whole sky chart., and very cool satellite tracking charts, etc.
I also strongly endorse Celestia (free, open source, kicks ass under OS X)

Its a bit tricky to use it as a planetarium
1- center your field of view on the Earth.
2- orbit around until you are looking at the day-lit side of the Earth (behind which you will see the night sky)
3 - turn on planet labels and constellation boundaries.
4 - set your FOV (field of view) to about 180 degrees.

While the fact that Saturn is in Leo has exactly no effect on whether today is, or is not, a good day to start a new business venture, or plan a trip, or eat a bagel, etc. It is of interest to me as an Astronomer, because I can find my way around the night sky well enough to find the general neighborhood of Leo (which is always in the same place in the sky w.r.t to other, more easily identifiable, constellations) so I can look for Saturn, and know where to point my scope.
