10.4.10: Worth downloading?

Haven't seen a lot of discussion about it...

Running fine on a 1GHz eMac. Just be patient on the first restart, {magic occurs} for up to 5 minutes, then a second restart happens automatically. After that, normal startup/restart times.

There were some postings about choppy sound after the upgrade. I hadn't noticed, but you may want to check the apple discussion board, or macfixit.com (?), or search here for "10.4.10" .

It made my cursor more mousier and my icons more desktopier.

My 10.4.10 ate my homework.

10.4.10 may have eaten my friend's USB Logitech iChat camera. It still works for video, but no longer appears in the SOUND prefs pane, and will not record audio.

Working well on iMac C2D. No complaints.

While it doesn't seem to hurt anything for the most part, what does it bring?

In my opinion, unless you're getting an iPhone (requires 10.4.10 or Windows XP SP2--Doh) I would hold at 10.4.9 until Apple fixes the sound kexts they broke in 10.4.10.
