Lindsay Lohan, a career implodes.

Back in handcuffs for DUI.
In Santa Monica jail as of early this morning.

EDIT: Speeding, chasing a car, over the legal limit, also had coke in her posession.

What's weird is that she keeps getting caught doing coke and driving drunk and running over lamp posts and photographers and the insurance companies still let her make movies.

The producers just announced that "Poor Things" is going into production this summer even with all of her troubles.

For almost any other actress out there, they'd have recast every project but the VH-1 story of her meltdown by now.

Junkie? Yaaaaah. Either that or severely anorexic. Nicole looks better in this pic but it might just be the spray tan.

I wonder what her odds are of getting a *new* contract after this.

I've seen a couple of instances where a celebrity has received special consideration because they were currently filming elsewhere. Insurance and bond companies wouldn't seem to quick to count on that.

The girl's career is circling the drain at this point. She might not be far behind.

Too much money/fame/spoils too early.

Jeebus. At what point do they finally decide to throw her ass in jail? Multiple DUIs, possession, driving with a suspended license. She should be serving time by now. Paris served time for less than that, didn't she?

I think Paris went to jail more for the "Driving While Suspended" portion of her crime spree more than anything else.

This may be Lohan's first arrest for the same.

But base solely one what *little* I've heard so far, jail seems appropriate.

Too much money/fame/spoils too early.

That's a big problem for many child/young actors. And with child actors, on occasion if it's not the child with the problem, it's the parents.
