Looking for a VHS or DVD memory course

that gives tips on memorizing people's names.

I imagine that there is some video course that explains the technique of associating one or more common nouns with a striking feature of someone's face as an aid in remembering the person's name. I assume the video would have footage of a bunch of people, and provide tips on how to make links to remember their names. The video would then show the faces, and the viewer would be asked to remember each name.

Does anyone know of a specific course that has this feature?

Better than that, I'll tell you exactly how to do it for free. I have had a lot of trouble remembering names in the past and this is how I've (mostly) overcome it.

...

When you meet someone, say their name after they are introduced to you. Then find an excuse to say their name at least 1 more time in the next minute or so.

Example:
Scarlett: "Mike, this is Joan."
Mike: "It's a pleasure to meet you, Joan."
Joan: "Nice to meet you, too."
Mike: "So, how do you know Scarlett, Joan?"

Now, a little bit of mental repetition with some fact to associate with the name cements it in memory...

Mike: (subvocalizing so that he doesn't look like an idiot) "Joan. I will remember that her name is Joan, Scarlett's friend from Miami who doesn't want people to know that she's divorced..."

Thanks for the tip.

I should have been more clear. I am looking for a video with this feature, as I would like to give students in a class the opportunity to learn the names of twenty (insert any number here) new people.

In a classroom setting it seems easier to me to show a video, than to pass around a book with photos in it.

in highschool we had a memory expert give a lecture. he started by saying, i'm going to tell you my name now, and you're never going to forget as long as you live. he said my name is:

Ralf Nichols

then he said, now change that to rough knuckels (a permanent visual cue)

I've never forgotten his name.
