As seen elsewhere on the Internet...

Unconfirmed...

SKU: 8294703
UPC: 763649003039

To check availability (not price) at your nearest store, enter your ZIP Code:

None around central Arkansas, but holla' Dennis S, it's at Texarkana (who knows what price it'll be though).

It doesn't even show for me in a search for the SKU or the product description. Sad

Yeah, I think it's discontinued or on clearance, that's why.

At the first store (East Brunswick, NJ) the tag on shelf was 101.99 and they did a price check at the computer info desk nearby and it was indeed 101.99. I did not actually try to check out at register (*).

At the second store (Manalapan, NJ) the tag was also 101.99, but when they did the price check it rung as 33.99. I got a second one and at the register they were indeed 33.99, paid, stuffed in the trunk and then I did the whole thing over again.

I got 4 unopened drives right now, I am thinking what to do with them. I think I will make one RAID setup for me, one for my wife. We both use laptops.

FWIW: As I said, there were 4 left on the shelf at 6:45 PM on Manalapan. I did a check a few minutes ago, and the East Brunswick store is out of stock (who bought those at 101???) but the Manalapan store still shows some stock.

(*). A few month ago there was a clearance at Staples, they had some 60 GB HD Maxtor (2.5" USB) that showed a price of 59.99 at a price check, even at register, but when the cashier pressed some key to check me out, the real price was 12.50. So it may be possible (but very unlikely) that you do a price check and it shows 101.99, and at register it is actually 33.99.

if anyone is interested in a photo of the receipt, please PM me. I do not have a scanner, but I can try to take a good photo. Although I have heard that BB does not do PM, even for their own stores Sad

Very nice of you space-time, and great info.

I'm sorry the following is coming kind of late, but apparantly there's a 10% off coupon that some people have been using on these drives (I knew about it, but it seemed to exclude clearance items):

Hey rgG,

I just went to the Alpharetta store - they have 4 listed as in stock, but good luck finding them. I found lots of 250, 500, and 750GB drives, but no 320GB. The price check was $101.99, but that is what was in the computer, not what rang up on the register (since we couldn't find them).

If you go tomorrow and find them at $34, snag one for me, please.
