I want to be prompted for a password when I make purchases from iTunes.
At the request of my wife, I saved my password so she could buy songs when I wasn't around. ( we both use the same account on my Mac. Well.......She's been buying songs we already have.
How do I go back to make it prompt for a logon ?
(I'm looking, but if someone responds before I find it, thanks !)

What happens if you click your username in the top right corner of the iTunes window where it lists your balance. On my iTunes (on Windows at work), doing so brings up a window that allows you to logout. Will that do what you want?

No. I want it to prompt me for my password when I click on "buy now".
I deleted the itunes password from keychain and signed out like you suggested (and then back in) but when I click buy now it purchases it immediately. I used not not have my password cached.
The REALLY weird thing is that I wasn't charged for the duplicate song she purchased. She also said she didn't put it in the shopping cart but she saw it start to download anyway.
I had 2 of the same song with different "date added" in my DB
Weird, but as long as I don't get charged for it I'm ok.
Thanks though.

Yeah, but if you do that, we can't use your account to buy songs.
