the Victoria's Secret on the Upper West Side will be home to the new Apple Store. . .

there are 2 but I bet it's the one near Lincoln Center. . .

no word on when and I couldn't find any announcement (at least with a quick search). . .

pass it on!

Maybe at this store, they will sell iPod panties instead of iPod socks. Big Grin

That would make it awfully close to their 59th street location.

. . .the other Victoria's Secret is in the 80s or 70s which a bit too high on the UWS since they tend to have stores in high traffic areas but it still could be. . .

I could see it going either way, but the Lincoln Center location does make a lot of sense. There is a ton of commercial suburban retail outlets around that area, tons of moneyed inhabitants, and...the Julliard School along with the conservatory. Music students & endowments = cash money ka-ching.

On the filp side, further north on the UWS would also produce a lot of moneyed inhabitants with kids in expensive private schools, but still...

Meanwhile, in the other 4 boroughs of New York City (with a mere 6+ million inhabitants)...
