Wait Wait sucks. Mr. Feldman knows how to host a show and be funny.

I haven't heard the latter since 1994 -- but it was so good, I still recall lines from it, and
both Atlanta and Chicago air that other crap.

It's crap.... even with the occasional good guest.

Whad'Ya Know is not NPR. It is distributed by PRI.

I love Wait, Wait... Went to see it live here in D.C. a few years back and had a great time. The jokes are corny and the puns are awful, but Carl Kassel is awesome and i enjoy most weeks.

I've never especially liked Michael Feldman's Whad' Ya Know... First, he's incredibly smug and that bugs me. Second, the attention he pays to very young women (girls, really - i'm talking early high school here) kinda creeps me out. I had to stop listening at some point back when he was on the air here in D.C.

I agree, Wait, Wait is a great show. I, too, got the chance to see a live taping in Sarasota last year and it was so much fun. And Carl Kassel really is awesome!

Listen to "Wait, wait…" every week. It always has something I can laugh at, even tho sometimes the jokes are lame. And the guests lately have been pretty good. Who woulda thought that White House press secretary Dana Perino could be so funny?

I vaguely remember "whad'ya know" from years ago. Never got into it.

I want Carl Kassel's voice on my home answering machine more than life itself.

I have the exact opposite opinion. I think Whad'Ya Know is a particularly inane show. Michael Feldman has his moments, but overall his jokes fall flat, and his banter drags on and on and on.

Wait wait, on the other hand, consistently has decent guests, has a great lineup of regulars, and Peter Sagal is funny.

Wait Wait is a much better show. The other is not even close. No contest.
