I've tried searching on Apple discussions, etc. but their servers must be getting hammered or something. Whenever I click on a discussion topic I get a server error. So......thought I'd seek help here.
I have an Intel iMac connected to an Airport extreme via ethernet.
My son and I have MacBooks using Airport to connect to the network. All Macs have sharing enabled. All are running Leopard OS 10.5.1.
When I am on my MacBook the Shared section of the Sidebar shows my iMac, my son's MacBook and the AP Extreme. His MacBook shows the iMac, my MacBook and the AP Ext. However, the iMac shows only the AP Extreme in the Sidebar. I can't find anyway to display the two MacBooks in the Sidebar. The only way I can access the MacBooks is to go to the GO menu and hit Network.
Aren't the shared MacBooks supposed to show up n the shared section of the Sidebar on the iMac finder Windows?
Thanks for any insights.
