Large File Transfer Services??
#1
A friend is looking for a service to transfer large (500 meg) sound files.
In the past he has used BonPoo or YouSendIt but he's looking for
something better. Any suggestions??

TIA,

a domain is only about $3-5 a month and most of those have gigs and gigs of storage

he could upload several and keep them there indefintitaly if he wanted too...

$5 for 100 gigs

It depends a little on how you want the files hosted. These should work if he is just looking for a site to put them where other people can download files instead of streaming, this is from a post I made a couple of months ago.

These sites list a couple dozen filesharing/hosting services with some of the limitations. Typical limitations are things like 50 MB max size and limited retention time from 2 to 90 days. I think most require you to sign up with an email address.
edit- sorry, page no longer there www.feedbus.com

They are missing some of the big commercial ones though.
