As a lunch time giggle, I faked up a 'you can build it' instructional packet to synchronize with a popular movie that saw my corp's product off on the sidelines in a few scenes. A buddy in marketing saw it, loved it, and now it's going out to our customer base as a tongue in cheek marketing bit.

So have I officially written my first bit of 'copy' ? Do I have to buy some sharkskin suits and thin ties ?

Mom will be happy I'm finally using that minor in Creative Writing I took in Engineering school.

rG, I work in Corporate IT. We block souls at the entrance to the department.

blooz- red suspenders ? Is that the big style point now ? What about the white beard, big belly, and reindeer that come with them- do I have to do that too ? I've got a bit of a belly, so that won't be hard, and the hair is going pretty white lately.

Man, this whole style lifestyle is too complicated.

Actually, I misspoke. Red suspenders are for the big time Wall Street types.

It's their way of showing they can get past the grey flannel image and be individuals.
