The post about the diamonds case reminded me of this one:

The lawsuit is about the price cardholders of Visa-, MasterCard-, or Diners Club-branded payment cards were charged to make transactions in a foreign currency, or with a foreign merchant, between February 1, 1996 and November 8, 2006. The deadline for filing a claim is May 30, 2008,

Good notice, thanks.

The short version for those who don't know: if you had a Visa, MC or Diners during that time period, you can get refunded
a) a flat sum $25, no questions asked
b) larger amount based on your # days out of USA, no receipts needed
c) even more, based on actual receipts

I filed mine a month ago. I was out of the country 900 days in that time. I'm hoping for a big check.
